You are dead wrong about our ability to recycle tires...we STILL are not capable by ANY means. My family owned South Shore Tire Recycling Co and I owned New England Tire Recycling Co. Both "ONCE" based in Massachusetts. There is much more to this science than meets the eye. We had 6 (six)$600,000.00 tire shredders that were capable of shredding 1200 tires each in a 24 hour day...(3 shifts)... The help sucks,,,anyone in their right mind would not get into this dirty business, so you are stuck with the bottom of the barrel for labor. there are the rim crushers/ the rocks/ the mud /ice in the winters/ rotting water in the summers/ hammer heads that find their way into the tires and destroy $30,000 dollar knifes that shred the tires/ the steel beads that must be removed / the steel belting you get stuck with / the 100's of Tractor Trailer Trucks/ the dump bodies/ the waste ....i could go on for days......its a dirty dirty business

The only people making money on tires are the ones that rent huge industrial warehouses , fill them with tires and walk away.....

You do not know what you are talking about.....it cost us 6 mil before we folded and walked away to a real life
