There is nothing to prevent you from buying that house with the CD's that you have, or buying the Ferraris or the RV or the four Sheep dogs, two hookers, etc. etc., without the extra $1mil that the government gives to me. In fact, all these items would cost less without the new money, and making your years of savings more worthwhile.
On the other hand, if everyone else is given new money that is equivalent to or more than your total CD amount, you will get nothing, nada, as you are outbid at every turn. Since you are so happy that you will get taxed later to pay back what money the government gives to me and to everyone else. Please cash out all your CD's, and send the money to me. I will spend the money and jump start the economy for you
