Profunds index and sector trading

Thank You Steve. My typical swing trade holding period is usually about 2 - 4 weeks, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer, depending how soon I achieve my profit goal. This to me seems like the most accurate holding period. I try to not hold stocks for very short periods of time, for fear of being victimized by random short term price fluctuations, and I do not hold them for too long, for fear of being victimized by long term trends (assuming my position opposes the trend.) I trade the short term cycles, with a profit goal of 10 percent.

Do you only trade sector funds, or individual stocks too?
