I really am good about testing stuff before I put it into production. Got going a bit too quick and careless right at the end of this last one, though. After I'd tested everything and it looked right, I commented out all the code that wouldn't be needed anymore, then noticed I'd commented out a line that was already a comment. And it was a comment for a chunk of live code. Being a bit of a neat-freak (only in coding, definitely not in real life), I uncommented the commenting out of the comment (still with me?), but apparently got too ambitious with the delete key and apparently also deleted the apostrophe I should've left, making the comment a command.

Matt, for future reference, so you don't get those worthless generic 500 errors, go to Tools, then Internet Options, and uncheck the box about "Friendly HTTP error messages". That'll make IE show you the routine that bombed, the nature of the error, the line number that caused the error and the exact line or word that caused it.

You would've realized immediately that it was a missing apostrophe.

>>Matt, is LBrown really your mom?<<

Oui.

You should've lied to me. Not only am I older than my partner, I'm older than my partner's mom. <groan>

I'm gonna pull her aside one of these days so we can swap notes about you. You should get both of your parents posting here. I'll see if I can get some of my family members to do the same. Although I haven't had any luck getting John to post here yet.

Which reminds me. I should post a couple of pictures of our last 4th of July get-together. Saw a picture there of me and John kicking back. People know what you and I look like (well, not everyone has seen you), but nobody's seen the guy we call on when we need serious GEEK power.
