They probably do. The vacation/resorts have pretty much given up. About the only ones still calling are the refi and Dish TV guys. I've taken to teasing the refi guys. I ask them if they want to give me free money. Usually there is a silence so I ask them again. Then they mumble something like no. So them I say, you can't give me money at 0%. Well, how about 1%? About them they fess up that they don't know the rates and are only the call screener. So then I fire back at them, if you don't know the rates, then DON'T CALL no more. Eventually the calls will stop.

How many 100's of these guys you think there are? I've been doing this for over a month and it hasn't slowed the calls yet. And I haven't really noticed the same places calling again. The refi business is absolutely desparate for business right now. I haven't decided yet what it will mean when I stop getting calls. Either I will have finally managed to tell them all to stop calling or it will mean something about the economy. I'm not sure which.
