No Matilda, Doug is just one of droves of people that understand the benefits associated with the alternatives that are viable and moving forward. And actually, though Laidlaw can conduct itself in a business like manner on it's own property, Doug still has a right and is part of the process which will be held in Coos County during the planning process to bring up exactly what impacts he feels that project will have to people abutting that property, i.e. the entire city of Berlin, through its representatives, mayor and council, who are publicly stating they believe the impact is negative. The alternatives produce comparable numbers of jobs when taken into account they will surely save more jobs (operating plants from ceasing operation due to wood issues.) The alternatives have no where near the negative impact the stack in the middle of town has. Sorry.
