do you compensate for a doubling or tripling of royalty revenue due to the increased uptake on the flash chips? i don't know myself just how fast it is growing, but if we are getting lower prices and higher unit shipments, royalties should be ramping higher.

i'm not so sure just how secure this royalty stream even is any more. I haven't looked at SNDK's fundies in a long time. all i can say for sure is SNDK will have it over other flash producers simply due to the royalty revenue stream.

in terms of flash itself, i think it's already in the DRAM category, or very close.

it's still a good company IMO. but, one should only own it at the right time. myself, like i said before, i just saw some outrageous options volume and decided to take a flyer.

btw, don't you see any costs of production decreases to go along with these drops in per unit revenue? i think the production costs are decreasing rapidly too. and they added capacity over the past year as well.
