Personal Alzheimer’s story:

My condo neighbor appears to have the signs of AD and is unfortunately living alone. (He has next of kin in the next town who appear to be in denial.) The neighbor frequently locks himself out and has to call the landlord to get into his unit.

A few days ago the neighbor locked himself out again and rang my bell. I was about to call the landlord as I usually do, but the neighbor told me to hold off. He said, “I don’t have my key –let’s try yours!”
