I've been in the oil/gas industry for 25 years working for one of the majors........ that has been prepping to get started in Iraq once the door opens.

From "water cooler chats", I have good/strong reason to believe that the western part of Iraq is "known", meaning it has been explored & tested but never announced/made public............. and the results combined with Iraq's "publically known" oil/gas reserves would boggle the human mind.

If what they truly have under their feet, all of it were made public, Iraq would be #1 in the world, literally heads & shoulders above SA, Venz, Iran, etc all put together. I have no links to prove this, but again.........after 25 years working in the industry, 20+ of that in Production/Operations, you hear/see a lot.
