Let's say it's mostly the wife...
She does the planning and most of the grout and so on. I do the cutting and the flat work. Underlayment framed the fireplace etc. I even provide some of the vision I guess, but it's a joint effort.
Additionally, she provides the motivation that get's things started. I've actually built a lot of my house. I can bang nails and figure angles and such, run an electrical cuircuit and sweat pipe, although I'm discovering PEX pipe is the greatest thing since even before sliced bread for heat or house water.
