This is similar to SMC getting a loan. Unfortunately Linear doesn't have enough cash to fund the rest of the Orosi project but with 2 million oz and 20 million in the bank, new Linear is a better candidate for a loan than SMC by itself.

We still have to wait for the merger approval, then see if Linear can restart Orosi or if that 20 million was already committed to their own project.

They state a 9 month construction period so hopefully by year end 2009, we would see production from Orosi and the upside for SMC shareholders. And of course, we still need additional money to ensure that Orosi can be completed by year end 2009.

More waiting.....less upside??
