Bernard Madoff $50 Billion Ponzi Scheme

Johnbits, I've enjoyed your spot-on commentary about Madoff. I always find it curious how once someone is exposed, people come out of the woodwork claiming to have figured the guy out long ago. Then we have the "this is only the tip of the iceberg" folks as well as the "this is but a small piece of something much larger" conspiracy theorists.

Do we really think there are more out there like Madoff? If so, as in the Madoff case, there are likely people who know things who either have heretofore kept silent or perhaps have spoken but to no avail. Shouldn't we be able to ferret at least one of these people out? Should we try? Does anyone out there have their doubts about someone who may be the next Madoff?
