The etrade part will give your the amount of your transfer, (once the account is verified), as long as your account has that worth in it.

Given my old FRE and SIRI (did I mention R/S's make me sad?) taking a bath this fall, that's why I had to wait on my last transfer in - only had part of the amount leftover to cover it. But since it was only for a million shares, I have well over that now with my SMAS holdings.
