Do you have a link? I can't really remember any president winning an election with just 25% of the vote.

I assume you are referring to the 2000 election, and leaving apart the epithet 'extremist', Bush won a little less than 48% of the popular vote. I assume you meant to say 25% of the potential voters. However, on that basis, we probably have not had many, if any, popularly elected (i.e. more than 50% of potential voters) presidents.

The most popular president of all time, I believe was Saddam Hussein. I believe he received 100% of the vote in his last 'election'. Do you think he will be on the ballot in the next Iraqi election?
