Each person's investment decision will be based on their own risk/tolerance level. For some it will be the trading system or program itself, for others the track record of the fund or the type of fund and for some a combination of all the above.

There is definitely more to consider than just purchasing the shares of a company.

The secret to profitable investing is to buy into well-run companies at the beginning of their earnings growth cycle—before Wall Street takes notice and bids up the stock price.
