Lots of people use variations on their names for business purposes. If his birth name were Christantinople Galopopolus, he may have shortened it to Cris Galo for ease in business communication and trade. Some people may not like to do business with greeks, etc. Therefore, when you google "Cris Galo" you don't find background. IMO

What would be more amazing is he found a perfectly clean name, like some kind of man in black, that is completely untraceable and uncommon.
