They can't use a cyanide leaching process with out proper EPA and HAZ/MAT permits, as well as a HAZ/MAT plan that contains a spill plan, a spill impact evaluation and much more, they will also have to have spill kits and HAZ/MAT gear on site with qualified personnel trained in spill prevention, control and recovery, and to be qualified one MUST attend the EPA 40 hour course for response as well as the EPA 40 hour HAZ/MAT supervisors course for HAZ/MAT recovery. They will also need an EPA HAZ/MAT generators number and those are just federal requirements I don’t know what the state requires for chemicals that are classed as EHLH (extremely hazardous to life and health.
