And this is exactly why having a floor less convertible is bad in any financing deal, it allows this kind of corrupt hanky panky as you call it to happen at huge gains in naked short profits while potentially wiping out the company you just helped to finance. The bad part here is that there are 12 note holders on the CD, and only a few of them have cashed out, So not only have they screwed the share holders and the company, they've also screwed the other note holders that have not yet cashed in their debt, all while walking away with everyone else's money including their own, and then some. The note holders responsible for carrying this out never cared about the company, it was just another scam opportunity for them to walk away with millions, and yes, your government always people to get away with this kind of scam legally.
