Can't even compair that one (NovaGold Resources) to this one, just by looking at the web site you can see that they have a very large scale opperation going as well as all the right equipment on site. You can also see that have a mill/processer on site as well as quite a lot of replacement parts. And if you look at the pictures you can see that a lot of money had to be spent on set up, all that with out wild exagerated clames...
But once again, and you have nopt even attempted to address this, if the clame is true that would mean that Tri-Star's mine has half as much gold on there site as was mined in the whole state for the last 150 years, quite a clame to be sure..
Oh and bact to the question, the average gold recovered for placers is 5/7 grams per tonne, some are more productive and some less but that is the average.
So there are 28.3 grams in an ounce.
That means that a little ove 28 tonnes of material per ounce
So yes it is possibal to recover 10 ounces a day from a rich placer deposit, but with out an assay report we/no one knows and if you look at historical data from the area most placers produced very little gold, and no where near what is clamed.
(note that also calmed a recovered value of gold at $20.000 per 35 tonnes processed, that would mean 24.48 ounces of recovered gold per 35 tonnesagain quite a clame, and again would make there site the richest gold producing mine ever)
