Which other company is able to do forensic determination of racial ancestry by testing DNA found at a crime scene?

If everyone could do it, why did "Forensics Files" spotlight the technology, in January _this_year_, in their "Good as Gold" episode? Nowhere in "Good as Gold" did they mention that anyone else could do this. It was portrayed as a cutting edge breakthrough, which it is.
