Ninja, have been thinking another potential group to contact re the advances to be made in the surgical field are those with vested interest in reducing surgical costs: MEDICAL INSURANCE COMPANIES, such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Also it occured that certain philantrophic foundations might be interested in providing "seed money" . The Gates Foundation comes to mind.
