Certain kinds of crime are generally lower in
permit areas. Where I'm at, nobody walks up and robs anyone.

Too many "victims" might be armed. If I was a robber, I
would head west about 12 miles to Illinois, all those poor
bastards are prevented from defending themselves with
much more than a rock.
