speculating about Thalio's silence

While I have no way of knowing, I doubt that Thalio jumped ship. He was just too impressed with the possibilities of the science. After a previous period of silence, he did come back from the dead to make a comment. I suspect that he is awaiting developments that would spark his intellectual excitement.
