I like your posts. You are right cash is important.
Still $4B is not that big cash for those banks. Look what is happenning to Citibank. They just recently got $25B (or was it little less around $10B, I do not remember) and they might file BK soon.

Unfortunatelly, as a lot of bad news, crisis hitting the market, people more importantly news media looks like has already forgotton about what happen to WaMu.

Well, as you said, there is nothing we can do but wait.

I'll be happy for $1 to just save my initial investment.
