How else do you suppose a company like GTCB would seek to be successful...of course it's about approval of "one drug"...in what other way would the technology be validated? By popular vote, by mail, a little bird,...??? A failure? Not sure that is any more than just your persective. I'm not sure I would even label it either way until we have that decision because last I checked every company, every product ever put on the market has to pass tests, panels, etc...a failure? I'm not following...are you suggesting they should have more than one up for approval right now? oh wait, they do, that is what their pipeline is all about...oh wait, why atryn...oh yeah, orphan drug status, oh yeah, priority review...oh yeah, it's an unmet need on the market, an ORPHAN, do you think that's a coincidence, or just a clever way of piggy backing a technology...seems like the best available place to start...here I was thinking they should have started with someting like organic milk...
Just not following this failure, success logic. Sure, ill timed with the market conditions, but again, we are talking about things in there volitional control are we not??? It will be a success or failure based on approval...there is no other way and to say it's a failure because it's come down to that is either naive or just irrational.
