Ceo's compensating themselves with tens of millions annually, GM, Ford, and Chrysler with the production worker earning these kind of hourly wages, and with the continued production of gas guzzlers for decades. They won't take an SUV nor Pickup for a trade in speaks volumes of their arrogance.

Sooner if not later the river is gonna run dry, but all came to Washington yesterday in their Corp Jets, imagine the cost when they fly and stay overseas, China, Russia, whose people they are hiring to replace the American jobs they snuffed here, including Mexico. Now they want the US Taxpayer to save all this for them.................

It didn't take a genius to know that gas prices have been rising, and will continue till it eventually levels off around $5.00 a gal, its just a matter of time, and the cost of owing one of these can be from $25k to $60k not to include the Hummer. Every other vehicle on the road is one of these today, financed for 5 to 7 years.

Fuel efficiency and cost effective affordability over the last several decades would have insured their success. But in their industry its monkey see monkey do. This is the result, the cost for one of these vehicles goes to pay for these outrageous wages, and if the warranty expires, woe to the car owner when the repairs have to be paid out of pocket.

No corporation of any size can afford these wages and survive.
