A tidbit from Shire's presentation today.

They model 3 to 1 of programs entering research to entering value chain for core ERT. The average time to research market from start (target identified not entering clinic) is 7-9 years. One reason why I like this field, I have not seen good data but think these numbers compare very favorably to almost all other pharmaceuticals (except generics :))

At one point if I recall correctly evert ERT to enter Phase 3 had reached the market, I am sure genisi will correct me if I am wrong :).
