Yes sometimes mm's I think flip a coin and decide to run a certain play for no reason at all. They however do usaully hitch a ride on something that moves the pps a little firstlike , a good PR, sometimes some reporting by a company, sometimes some large volume maybe by purchases by a hedge fund,etc. but not always do they need this.
