Yvette, couldn't agree more with them. And the sad part is that we have allowed this to happen...relinquishing our right to any sort of privacy, relinquishing all our personal data to the government in the name of the patriot act, and most of all relinquishing our religious beliefs to a "born again Christian" who feels the rest of the world should subscribe to his beliefs.
I totally agree with Ray...we should have never gone to Iraq and should just get the H out of there before more body bags bring our young men and women home. This has the possibility to turn into another Viet Nam. Years go by very quickly as this last year has and still our troops are there...and having their tours extended. The mentality there is so different from ours as was Viet Nam's. When we finally realize the rest of the world does not subscribe to our values and beliefs, then there may be a chance for worldwide peace...until then we are tilting at windmills!
And to think this administration has the gall to say they never indicated Iraq (Hussein) was responsible directly in any way has removed any respect I had for the current administration.
May the families of the sons and daughters that played this nightmare out for the policies of our current President be outraged by the folly that has been perpetrated on them!
Enough ranting...I should just go write a column for Kevin on his blog and let you both off the hook from reading my nonsense!
What a debacle! That continues to this very hour! And will continue until voters hit the polls in unprecedented numbers this fall to put and end once and for all to it.
