Of course it depends on what your looking for? Their are many different types of plays out there. Sometimes a stock could be in more then one category at the same time. I have tons of Idea, some I own some I do not. ZAGG.OB I Sold on Friday, but from what I hear I didn't listen to the CC it looks like they will easily exceed their guidence, although still have no clue why they didn't put that in the PR. Will Try to Buyback in the $0.75 to $0.80 range. Right now I put investments into 4 different categories, all of them have their uses right now. some times a stock can appear in Multiple categories those are the ones you really want to buy.
1) Huge Discounts to Book Values
2) Low PE's
3) Massive Growth Stories
4) Huge Dividend Yields
For example ZAGG.OB fits both 2 + 3. A stock Like BAMM, who admittingly I dislike the retail space, but own it for the following reasons. 1) It trades at a big discount to book, even at the lower earnings the stock will still probably earn .60 or more this year. The Divdend Yield is most likely sustainable at roughly 16% a year, and trading waaaaaaaaaaay below book, and a story that has a history of stable growth when the environment returns to some form of normality seems like the risk reward is in your favor. Their are stock similar to ZAGG.OB, such as EGMI.OB, RBCL.OB and ALIF.ob that have their uses, plus REPR.OB is a name on the growth trend. Their are also cheap value Play such as DIT, CNO, FRD, MALL. Their are also stock that do a little of everything such as good growth, low PE's, Such as OFI, ALLI, KEQU, UFPT, LZR. Their are divdidend Play such as BAMM, UVICF.OB, FRD and UVE, all sporting decent dividend yields. Their are stocks that trades at discounts to book such as DAAT.OB, CNO and others. I can keep going, but this is a ZAGG.OB board, Hence I tried to keep this post with some ZAGG.OB in it. And still answer questions you asked.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
