First to Market

I'm looking around for the evidence that Calypso was in fact first to market with the patented functions that are now showing up in a variety of others products. I saw that referenced in an article yesterday, but can't find it now. That article pointed back to 2003 in stating CLYW was first to market. Perhaps some of the longer term holders here could point to the first references to CLYW's phone products being demoed, etc. I've seen quite a number of "demo's" at trade shows and such from the 2005 time frame and later, mostly focused on the "improved" phone. When were the first phones brought out ?

Looked like T-mobile signed all their non-disclosures, etc., in putting together a joint effort back in that time frame ?
