The whole reason Congress and the Pres-elect want the auto bailout is to help the unions, whom they owe big-time. If the bail-out contains strings that cost the unions jobs or money they have not helped them. So the strings, if any, will have to be requiring greener cars or raising CAFE standards. We will know soon.
