Thank you for your suggestions. Here's the setup I use (ref. Sam Sneiden article in SFO mag) - works very well I might add:

1)Find stocks whose 200 period SMA slopes in the same direction as the general market relevant & relevant sector
2)Filter for stocks that exhibit a precipitous change in direction opposite it's 200 period SMA such that it's price is out of balance with immediate recent history
3)Enter only when a retracement back towards balance occurs

eg: I currently use "20 period SMA crossed below 200 period SMA (5 minute)" to find long position setups.

It would be a great advantage to have window specific filters that would show only those stocks whose SMA slopes in a specific direction.
