The follow are actual words spoken by Bob, so lets see if anyone can describe the situational.

... because of wear, should I grease my balls [because] they're subjected to a lot of friction as [they] twists and turns [and] grease would also take up some of the clearance, making for a seemingly tighter and definitely quieter fit. On the flip side, if I grease the one in the bed, I'm going to have to deal with a greasy ball every time I want to reverse it to use the bed for other purposes. I never failed to get the grease from it onto my clothes when loading or unloading the bed. And I used to always leave that one on because if someone rear-ended me, I wanted them hitting that thing instead of my bumper.
