I think it shows that Disney is being true to their word this time. If you recall, they had said they would do limited advertising in the four major metro internet savvy markets through 2000. I think they were LA, Seattle, San Francisco, and New York. During that time I saw two different commercials (there are supposed to be four different ones in total) on my NYC ABC affliate. Then after that they would go into full scale launch in January 2001.


Now there is another commercial showing on my local New Haven ABC affliate. I didn't actually see it, but twice within one hour I happened to be walking into the room and heard the tail end of it. It actually caught my ears, but I don't know what was said. I did hear a woman talking so it must be that plant one.

Further, I've noticed that they've stepped up their references to their various sites on shows like ABC News, Nightline, and The View, and Politically Incorrect. The constant references are of the nature..."for more information," or "we'll be having an online chat with," "to read more about this," "email us at," "online poll," etc.
