The business model from what we can gather is robust. its a simple premise. In emerging markets where power is expensive, the website says they will market and sell solar powered systems (as an alternative to grid supplied power) which can pay for itself in some markets in as little as 2 years.
The company will gain traction next year as the marketing is rolled out . Solargy will probably sell some systems to hotels in the Caribbean where some hotels pays about 500,000 a month in electric bill .
those larger systems sell for about 5 or six million.and of course they can also do the independant power producer thing in Florida where Governor Christ has mandated that FPL buy any green energy produced up to 10 MW ...and in some cases up to 80 MW.
We think the company will do well selling solar power...and if they are able to build the factory to make the panels, they will do better.
