How much to rent a booth? A lot, but that’s only a small part. You have to transport your stuff, set it up, see the fire martial, work!, and then do it all over the next day. Worse if you have employees working too.
About the show: We went to the San Diego IACP at the invitation of Armor Holdings in ~2002. They were THE premier manufacturer/distributor of security products then. We showed our product from their expansive booth while they watched. Later we went around to see our competition – about 100 metal detector companies. Probably close to what Paradigm got if they shared a booth –we need to find out what “attended” means in this case - An attendee just trying to work the crowd is hopeless.
The show is typical – a zoo of competing interests. There are police cars in the isles with lights flashing, booths with tv presentations blaring, cute girls in armor vests, and only about 1 out of 100 attendees in the crowd you really want to talk to.
Paradigm is a bit different and so is Hagemeyer. First, go to the list of exhibitors posted earlier and look at the imense list of companies they handle. Where does Paradigm fit and why? From my DD, Paradigm fills a niche of metal detectors and radiation detectors for Hagemeyer. Paradigm has a place among all those other companies. Not going to make Hagemeyer’s day, but fills a niche. However, given Paradigm’s fluff PRs, I am really looking to see Hagemeyer say Paradigm is on their list.
I think this is what you asked… Anything else?
