Yes, nuclear triggering device but not for peaceful purposes. Bush will make a stand in Iran, this I believe is why he is leaving troops in Iraq.

Some of what I have been posting coming from various sources has to be based on fact. Iran is the prize, Iraq is practice. Many of the moves Iran has recently made are probably based on desperation with the knowledge that Bush will go after them.

My question is, granted they have some significant military capabilities, yet to go against us at this point in time would be suicidal, do you think they have the promise of backing from Russia and or China? Or perhaps they have no choice and again the best defense is an offense.

Didn’t Russia once indicate they would help Iran?

There is a rather large piece of this puzzle missing. Iran’s confidence does not seem to match their capabilities.
