I agree with a lot of what you, jscot and tim are saying.
This is basically a "chat board" where if there's no chatter, then it's really going to be nothing more than a ghost town with nothing to talk about (and that's what it would be if all the "chatter" was to be deleted since that makes up 90% of all posts anyways).
There's a few boards that I moderate that there's ABSOLUTELY no news for months and if I don't think of something to say, I get removed from moderating the board for lack of activity.
What I find also very amusing is that folks that don't even trade stocks and spend most of their time on non stock specific boards (like political and "fun" boards) have the most to complain about which to me is really baffling. What do they care whether there's "noise" or not when they don't trade nor have any interest in the company/stocks in the first place?
