"So in your world, investor interest has no relationship to the stock?"
I never said that. I think investor interest is shown through the pps, the volume, etc. Personally, I mark stock specific boards that have TOU issues, not because I'm interested in the underlying company. I understand that I am not the typical User. However, my point is that boardmark dialog is discussion of a message board not the company.
"but a boardmark post is usually a one or two word post that doesn't even get clicked."
If you read my message, I said that I don't remove the message unless it inspires a rash of responses. However, I am paid to do this job. If a Moderator, who volunteers their time, decides to pre-empt the inevitable snowball, then I am supportive of that decision as it is technically off topic.
"if they were not important they would not have a particular placement on the page."
Again, I responded to this previously. There is other information that is also provided for people who are interested in it. That doesn't make it a discussion of the company or on topic for the board.
"Did you have anything to do with that placement? If not I would like to hear from someone who actually sat down and made that type of decision."
I did not, it was before my time and I have no idea who made that decision. I am confident that whomever it was will chime in if I have misspoken about the intended reason for boardmarks and/or whether they are "on topic".
