Agree. At least a minimal concept of statistics or mathematics is called for, and apparently someone who decided that the numerical indicator of a "boardmark" stood for some sort of significance. Now, what good is an indicator if there is no way to compare the indicator through some sort of change in relativity, by whatever yardstick you may choose, being time, space, value, volume...
A numerical indicator without any referential basis is useless.
