Current o/s is 3,620,241,722 which will be reduced down to somewhat around 1/2 million. After all the reverse splits that Mark Ellis did we have a lot of shareholder with just one share remaining. I'm trying to work it with the transfer agent and the NASD so that with this last or/s anyone with less than 100 shares (including those with one share) will get 100 shares round lot. Most investors/shareholders have been beaten down with these r/s.
I'm doing the r/s to make our stock attractive for acquisitions. I actually don't expect many shareholders to sell out. At least not until they see what will happen to this company. We're in discussions with two small food companies that if the deals work out could make Aventura Corporation (Winsted) (http://aventuracorporation.com) have sales above $20 million. With the economy the way it is going, food companies have been considered safe investments.
We also started an energy company (Wintree Energy Corporation) that has acquired some interest in producing and non-producing oil and gas wells). I see this as another area to pursue. I'm looking for a final 3rd industry to have Aventura enter, and we'll build on all three areas. Could be medical, I'm waiting to see what's out there.
(If you want to post this to the 'blogs' go right ahead.)

Frank
