Hi Jim,
Don't have a lot of time here, But can give you "my take" on this National Distributor issue.
Waterloo International Funeral Supply made it Happen at the NFDA convention in Orlando.
Are they the National Distributor?? I don't know. Would they Like to be?? I believe they are looking for the go ahead from EI to take this Final Frontier to the next step, and that's Sales and lots of them.
EI is the only one who nows who, if any, is the National Distributor. From and outsider at the convention looking in, I would gladly take Waterloo as the Top Dog. Tony Fifer is a "mover and a shaker", and very hungry to start marketing EI's funerary widgets:) I was totally impressed with his professionalism, and funerary savvy!!
When things get really rolling off the shelves with EI's products, Waterloo will need some help to keep up with the "demand". Two or three more National Distributorship will need to be logistically placed around the country.
This may all seem very "far/fetched" to be talking about now, But when Dean Kelly(Owner of Waterloo) said we need to be careful that this thing(EI) does not Explode with Demand for products, because in the Funeral Industry, this can be a very bad thing!!
Jim, as far as the "national distributor" and wanting to hold orders till they have an agreement?? What??, you think that selling a handful of Urns and Caskets at the Convention was a bad Thing??
One can only wait so long for the SEC, and this was the NFDA!! Would have been kind of tough if you told these FD's, that sorry, this stuff if Not for sale right now;)
Waterloo did the selling, the set-up, etc. etc.. and I'm sticking to that story:)
As far as the "other stuff" in the works Jim, you know just as much as I do.
Hang in there. All I know is that EI is now selling Caskets and Urns!!:) I saw it with my own eyes!!
Heppie:)
