Here's what I was reading....

General Electric Co. (GE) Chief Executive Jeffrey Immelt, speaking hypothetically, said Wednesday that in a scenario where the company's revenues decline 10% to 15%, he would instruct his managers to take steps to maintain profits.

It was incorrectly reported that Immelt was making a profit forecast that the company would aim for the same profit in 2009 as 2008, even if revenues fall 10% to 15%
