I agree with you 100%. Hearing a well presented contrary view or devil's advocate case made is far more valuable than a bunch of "you da man"s.

Unfortunately, as has been much in evidence of late, alpha egos can tend to get in the way. I understand the excess testosterone and hairtrigger instinct to call for a pecker fight at the slightest provocation, as though one's "manhood" was being challenged, but IMO it's not only wasted energy, but an impediment to wise decision making.

So lead the way. If you can get us back to some civilized substantive give and take, that'll be all good.
