Armed robbery at Victorville WaMu

VICTORVILLE • Washington Mutual bank customers are being turned away after an armed robbery took place Thursday morning at the branch located on Hesperia Road, near Silica Road.
The initial call came in at 9:14 a.m. of an armed robbery which has temporarily shut the bank down, according to reports.
The robbers are described as three black males in their 20s, officials said. Upon entering the bank, one stayed near the door while the other two jumped the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money, according to officials.
The men ordered everyone to the floor upon entering. There were a total of 15 people in the bank at the time, four of which were customers, said officials.
It is not known what direction the robbers left in and at this time there is no vehicle description.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Victorville station deputies are on scene gathering information.
A Sheriff’s Aviation Detail helicopter has been called in to assist in the search of possible suspects, according to officials.
FBI agents have also just arrived on scene.
While the bank is temporality closed, the ATM is still open.
