OK, Newly. I have tried to take stocks from one timeframe, say a 1 min. and graduate it up to 5, 15, 60 or whatever. I have never had a lot of success doing it as invariably one must make the decision of should I take the sell signal on the 5 min. or risk profits and wait for the 15 min. If I am able to graduate from one to the next, it is because I have traded in and out and have caught a move, purely by luck I'm sure. :^)

I'm always curious when someone says they use the shorter charts to pick entries for longer positions, because its really not as easy as it sounds.

Usually I will keep daytrades and position trades separate, unless I get lucky on a daytrade and decide to risk some profit. This is also partly due to the fact that I still work and can't daytrade when I do. One still needs to be in the market.
