Hi bucker2: If you want to put "serious" money into something and not be worried abour selling it soon you can reveive a 4.8% yield on the 10 year US Govt. T-Note. And last time I looked, the 30 year T-bond was yielding 5.4%; the gov't. no longer sells/issues the 30 year T-bonds... hence no supply.
