Well, per Dayne Chastain's assay report, looks like Lucky Linda No.1's placers are rich with precious metals. 
"I must add that as an experienced refiner for over 20 years, I was amazed at the amount of precious metals produced from this ore."

As mentioned before, the richest placers are not necessarily those occurring close to the source.Much depends on how the placer materials were reworked by natural forces.
