How could I forget. I bought my first home in 1989 in California. I think I was officially the last one on the boat. (g) Since it wasn't a SPECULATIVE investment the price fluctuations don't affect me. That's another thing that takes away from a potential collapse. There's a big percentage of homes that will never go on the market one way or the other.
